Cyber Security for Online Business

The social discussion on Cyber Security for online businesses and individuals was a highly engaging session, creating a sense of apprehension.
In light of the government's efforts to promote digitization of the economy, it is crucial for women, especially working women, to be well-informed about potential cyber fraud and cyber crimes and learn how to prevent them.
The session proved to be an enlightening experience as 50% of the audience shared their personal encounters with cyber scams, highlighting the alarming increase in cybercrime rates. Mr. Vipin Pal from the Cyber Cell provided valuable insights on the procedures for filing complaints through the government helpline 1930 or the www.cybercrime.gov.in website. He also educated women about the various types of scams currently in circulation, empowering them with knowledge to protect themselves.

Due to the increasing violence and crimes like eve teasing, rapes and harassment against women, Women have to think before stepping out of homes, their minds are consumed by fear and fright. And this is the sad reality of our country where women are given the stature of goddesses.
In order to address the issues of women of Mathura, this social charcha in partnership with Amar Ujala's Aparajita initiative was a ray of hope to better safety for women in town. The officials were all ears to the experiences of the women and shared knowledge on the government schemes and helpline numbers to call and seek for help 24/7 on, no matter how big or small.
Interactions like our social charcha prove to be monumental in bringing about change in our city, DSP Parvin Malik visited an area next day with our members and took all measures to remove eve teasers nuisance and increase safety of that specific area.

The light was thrown on the discrimination against working mothers in our society! And age-old beliefs of women being a burden and weaker sex were challenged.
Many challenges faced by working mothers and judgments thrown their way were discussed! Inclusion of working Moms in our society still is a dream but efforts are definitely being put in to turn it into reality.

One of the best community coming together experience we have ever had. Women left all their apprehensions at home and came ready to discuss everything mental health. With doctors on board, many woman came out to share their experiences of mental health issues, doctors normalised their concerns and gave medical reasoning behind each of their concerns, the level of comfort in that room that day was beyond imagination for women in a small city like Mathura.

This charcha was held with the underprivileged women. We opened the house to all the ladies working as househelps in a society. Even though some of them still use cloth, to our surprise, each one of them were well aware about sanitary pads. We highlighted and stressed on the importance of maintaining hygiene and using sanitary pads during menstruation. ANWA organised a multi-society drive of sanitary pad distribution along with setting up an option for buying sanitary pads at subsidized rates for these ladies.

ANWA kickstarted it's first open house discussion - Mathura Social Charcha with “Period Myths and Menstrual Hygiene”. We believe that positive and healthy discussions are the stepping stones to big changes in our society. ANWA brought doctors on board, to impart their expert knowledge and burst the period myths with facts. The women discussed the stereotypes they deal with during every menstrual cycle, and inspired each other to break away the period stigma. 3 of them pledged to continue their daily ritual of pooja even during menstruation.
